The classification of plate forming can be divided into plywood, MDF, particleboard, large core board and so on. The specific classification and characteristics of decoration panels are as follows:
1. Splint plates
Splint is also known as plywood, commonly known as fine core board in the industry. It is made of three or more layers of one-millimeter-thick veneer or sheet plate glued and hot-pressed. It is currently the most commonly used material for handmade furniture. Splints are generally divided into six specifications: 3 centiplate, 5 cleatboard, 9 cleatboard, 12 cleat, 15 cleatboard and 18 cleatboard. Veneer is a single-sided board made of solid wood board precision planed into a non-thin thin veneer with a thickness of about 0.2mm, with plywood as the base material, and made by adhesive process. It is a special way in which splints exist and has a thickness of 3 centimeters.
2. Blockboard
Blockboard, commonly known as large core board, is made of two pieces of veneer pressed together in the middle. Its price is a little more expensive than that of fine core board, and its vertical bending strength is poor, but the transverse bending strength is higher.
3. MDF board
MDF, also known as MDF. It is a man-made board made of wood fiber or other plant fibers using Germany Henkel glue, and MDF is easy to reprocess because of its soft and impact-resistant quality. In foreign countries, MDF is a good material for making furniture, but because the national scale of height board is several times lower than the international scale, the quality of MDF in China needs to be improved.
4. Particleboard boards
Particleboard is a thin board made of wood scrap as the main raw material, and then infiltrated with glue and additives pressed. According to the pressing method, it can be divided into two categories: extruded particleboard and flat-pressed particleboard. The main advantage of this type of sheet is that it is extremely cheap. The disadvantage is also significant: poor strength. Generally, it is not suitable to make large or powerful furniture.
