Every solid wood product undergoes numerous stages and steps from nature to your home, from raw material preparation to packaging and warehousing. Today, we delve into the Huari Furniture factory to experience the furniture production process firsthand and gain the most authentic solid wood furniture experience.
Step 1: Meticulous Selection
Huari Furniture controls quality from the source, boasting three major production bases across China and a timber processing plant in Africa. The timber grade is determined, and after sawing and cutting, it is shipped to China.
Step 2: Drying and Balancing
The drying process is crucial, involving 10 steps that determine whether the wood will crack later. Undried wood generally has a moisture content above 50%. Huari Furniture precisely controls the moisture content based on the wood's origin, properties, and the intended use area of the furniture product, maximizing the wood's stability.
Step 3: Carefully Selected Materials
Huari Furniture uses imported, high-quality sawing equipment. The machine intelligently measures the wood quality both horizontally and vertically, discarding inferior wood with knots, cracks, or insect damage, selecting only the finest raw materials, which are then assembled and sanded.
Step Four: Meticulous Craftsmanship
To achieve the desired shape, the solid wood requires further meticulous processing. This stage involves 15 processes, requiring perfect coordination between computer-controlled machinery and manual labor for precise adjustments. Each furniture component is often composed of many smaller parts. These smaller parts are made according to specified dimensions and shapes, then assembled into a larger component, forming the initial outline of the furniture.
Step Five: Exquisite Carving
Huari Home Furnishings utilizes CNC carving, an advanced process that ensures higher precision in furniture production. Combined with meticulous hand carving by artisans, the emotional investment adds warmth to the furniture, making each piece unique and custom-made for you.
Step Six: Refined Polishing
This step is more detailed and in-depth, requiring repeated painting, drying, and polishing to achieve a more comfortable color and smoother edges. Huari Home Furnishings uses water-based paint across its entire product line, making it more environmentally friendly and healthier. During the painting process, the goal is to showcase the main color of the wood while ensuring clear wood grain, restoring the furniture's natural luster.
Step Seven: Final Assembly and Trial
This is the final quality control step. After all components are assembled, color matching, pattern inspection, and paint color difference inspection are conducted. Every step and part is meticulously checked to ensure it meets factory standards and is flawless, providing the furniture with a final quality inspection.
Step Eight: Thorough Inspection and Packaging
The packaging and warehousing stage adds an extra layer of protection to the furniture. Panels and edges must be carefully inspected and securely wrapped using professional cardboard boxes and foam corner protectors to prevent bumps and ensure maximum care.
